Snorkeling

Even inexperienced people can dive underwater: the snorkeling paths in shallow sections allow you to see the species that live on the seabed and in the water column. All interested parties may participate in the activities both before and after the Naturalist Course.

Snorkeling is a different way to experience the sea, in fact Seawatching is for all levels,  including student groups.  The only requirement is a calm sea and because the seabed depth is limited, it is important to avoid creating damage to the environment by touching underwater surroundings or using your fins incorrectly.

To increase the interest in aquatic life the use of video cameras or even non-professional equipment is recommended. The ship wreck positioned under the lighthouse  of "Our Shipwrecked Madonna" are ideal sites for snorkeling and provide exciting experiences. Snorkeling is simple, fun, inexpensive, and safe. There are no age limits, and it can be done almost anywhere.

To do snorkeling it is necessary to use a mask to see underwater, an aerator (in English snorkel, which takes its name from that activity) in order to breathe comfortably while looking under the surface.  Furthermore, to ensure the maximum performance with little effort you can use flippers/fins. The above equipment will be provided by Subaquadive.
